Climato Reformers is a non-profit start-up, fighting for Climate Change and Environment around the World. This start-up, headquartered in Patna is founded and run by a group of professionals . Climato Reformers has 30 members in core team & overall 300 active members, coming with expertise in various areas of work.
Climato Reformers has come a long way from its beginnings in Patna. When we first started out, our passion to fend off pollution and unhealthy environment, it drove us to do a rigorous research, so that Climato Reformers can offer you the best available information and knowledge to preserve our natural resources, climatic conditions and to lead a healthy life.
This Foundation is making a difference in society by relentlessly working towards meeting the vision of “Building a better tomorrow for generations to come ” through Climate Change.
Why It’s important to do ?
Earth Climate is changing faster than any point in the history of modern civilization primarily because of human activities. Unprecedented changes observed over the 20th century includes increase in global air and ocean temperature, rising sea levels, reduction of snow and ice cover.
As per IMD report, average temperature has increased by 0.6° Celsius over last 10 years in India. As per World Bank Report, It is expected to increase by 1-2° Celsius by 2050. The Climate Change could cost India 2.8% of its GDP, in next 30 odd years. According to the global Climate Risk Index released by German Watch, India is the 14th most climate change affected country in the world.
The Intergovernmental Panel On Climate Change (IPCC ) says a 1.5 degree Celsius average rise may put 20 to 30% of species at risk of extinction. If the planet warms by more than 2° Celsius , most eco systems will struggle.
